Episode 9 is a nice 1 for me because it includes a track that was sent to me by the artist herself, the track is originally r&b and has been remixed into a house mix by AC Slater.
Irene Bauzá (IreneB), Born in Barcelona, Spain, was raised listening to R&B music such as Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, artsits who inspired her to pursue her own career as a singer/songwriter, between 2005 and 2006 she was crowned one of the most independent podcasted artist in the world.
In 2006, due to the success of the "Mi Realidad" release, IreneB was introduced to the idea of working with platinum producer Frankie Biggz.
And this led to “Metamorphosis” (her first English record), ready to hit the stores in fall of 2008. This album will turn IreneB into the first Spaniard ever to release a complete English R&B album worldwide.
