The Last Starfighter follows the story of Alex, a young man living in a trailer park with dreams of the stars. After he successfully becomes the only person on the planet to defeat the game of Starfighter, Alex learns this was a test to find the greatest pilot in the galaxy to go up against an intergalactic threat known as the Kodan Armada.
