• Transcriptional repression mediated by repositioning of genes to the nuclear lamina. Nature 2008 … LacO-LacIの仕組みを用いることでゲノムの特定領域にLacO arrayを差し込み、核膜に局在させたLacIに結合させることである遺伝子領域を核膜側に誘導しようとした論文。最初にこの論文を読んだ時はそのアイデアにたまげました。

• CRISPR–Cas encoding of a digital movie into the genomes of a population of living bacteria. Nature 2017…George Churchらは、Cas1-Cas2システムによって馬の動画をバクテリアゲノム書き込み、それを読み出すことに成功した。
• Multiplex recording of cellular events over time on CRISPR biological tape. Science 2017…コピー数の異なる2つのプラスミドをCas1-Cas2で取り込ませて、細胞内で人工的な時計のような仕組みを実現した。
