Description

In the light of the recent news of the failure of Silicon Valley Bank and the regulators stepping in at Signature Bank, we wanted to bring clarity to the impact of these actions on the economy and the markets at large.

It's always scary to see headlines of "bank failure" and pictures of people peering through the windows of banks that have closed their doors. Maybe it is our history books with the Great Depression or even more recent history of the Great Financial Crisis where it is only natural to be concerned with the consequences of two large banks failing.

In this podcast discussion, you'll learn:

  • What factors contributed to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank

  • What happens in the United States when a bank fails

  • Different ways that the Fed might respond to this situation
