Cold Showers -- Yup, it's time to get cold and wet! You can go full-on and just turn the water to freezing and step right in, or you can add 30 seconds of cold shower to the end of your regular shower.
Connect With "That Person" -- We all know who this is. That person who you wronged, who you've neglected, who you want to connect with more deeply. This is the time to write them a letter, give them a call, or (best of all) ask them to meet face-to-face to connect.
Fast and Replace -- Choose one thing in your life that is a "comfort", but that you know you can live without. It might be the morning news, spending time on Reddit, playing video games, beer, or whatever. For one day, "fast" from that thing, and replace it with something else. The morning news might be replaced with checking out a "good news network". Time online might be replaced with a family walk. The beer might be replaced by a glass of green tea. Afterwards, compare and contrast how the usual thing makes you feel, and how you felt after replacing it with something new.
