Keith Reza sits down with actress Karen Cliche for a fun, wide-ranging conversation that moves from horror movies and Hollywood stories to real-life fears, career pivots, family, and the strange things that stay with us from childhood. Karen talks about her new movie The Ice Cream Man and what it was like acting opposite Eli Roth while he was also directing. She shares how that creative dynamic worked on set, how they built believable parents for the film, and why grounding horror in recognizable family energy makes the chaos hit harder.
The conversation also revisits Karen's work in Thanksgiving and Saw VI, including the physical demands of horror performances and how imagination plays a huge role in selling fear on screen. Beyond film, Karen opens up about life between Canada and Los Angeles, being in the process of applying for a U.S. work visa, her thoughts on fame at conventions, food, health-conscious pizza experiments, protecting kids from exploitation, and even a wild detour into pyramid theories. It's funny, candid, and packed with the kind of unexpected tangents that make Reza Rifts such an entertaining listen.
