Suzee Camilleri is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine based in the Greater Toronto Area. Unlike many veterinarians, Suzee works in a hospital for humans—Mount Sinai, specifically—focusing on pathology and phenogenomics. She's very concerned with the medicinal benefits of good nutrition and uses her research to improve both human and animal health alike. In this episode, Suzee discusses how illness in her family influenced her career path, explains why she believes a healthier diet helps both ourselves and the environment, and relates how she's been able to create an equilibrium between her professional and personal lives.
