Bernadette is a relatively new project, whose songs pair catchy vocal melodies with driving guitars and bright pops of synth. The band's upcoming five-track EP gives a nice introduction to their high-energy, emotionally-charged sound: first single "Six Strands" showcases lead singer Ricci Swift's smooth falsetto above swirling layers of synth, while EP opener "Forever An Instance" features urgent guitars and has a darker, haunting vibe.
