President Biden sets Aug 31 as an end date to the US war/engagement with Afghanistan, claiming it is the Afghan people's responsibility to nation build. As expected, the announcement was met with mixed responses ranging from relief to end the longest US military engagement in history, to resignation that the mission was a failure and will yield the country to Taliban forces.
