SCHOOL SHOPPING COSTS - On his first day of August, many families are turning their attention to back-to-school shopping. During the next couple weeks, students across the country will head back into the classroom. A new report from the National Retail Federation shows families with children in K-12 schools spend an average of $874.68 dollars on school supplies, clothes and electronics. This is the second highest amount in the survey's history. College students are expected to spend more than $1,365 on the upcoming school year. This comes as a Wallethub report found 86% of parents think the cost of education is out of control. Nicole D’Antonio is live in Washington DC with details.
