OVERDOSE DEATHS - As fentanyl deaths continue to climb, a recent report is highlighting the alcohol and drug epidemic across the U.S. This year's Pain in the Nation 2024 report shows deaths from drugs, alcohol and suicide increased by 142% during the past two decades, from nearly 74,000 deaths in 2002 to more than 207,000 deaths in 2022. This comes as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Arizona announced they seized the largest amount of fentanyl pills in the agency's history. Nicole D'Antonio is in Washington with details on the new report.
