TEEN BRAIN HEALTH - From mental health to learning loss, there has been extensive research on how the pandemic continues to impact teens. Now, a new study finds that the pandemic may have have caused rapid brain aging in teens, especially teen girls. According to the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences some teenagers, brains aged much faster than they normally would, 4.2 years faster for girls and 1.4 years faster than boys on average.
