It's Aubrey's 7th birthday today and she came into the studio to get surprised Christmas gift! She was diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia, a disease that limits the bone marrow from making enough blood cells for the body. She received weekly transfusions followed by drug therapy at Wolfson Children's Hospital. Aubrey underwent two bone marrow transplants this summer and is working on healing and feeling better.
