“When Pink Meets Blue,” an open discussion about breast and prostate cancer! If you are black, you are at risk to develop either breast or prostate cancer. In fact, 1 in 6 black men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and our men are twice as likely to die from it than white men. Each year in the U.S. about 264,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed In women and about 2,400 in men and about 42,000 women and 500 men die. Black women have a higher death rate from breast cancer than White women – So what if we held each other accountable by A) Sharing information B) Encouraging each other to go see our doctor and following up for the results? Lives could be saved –
