Orange County reported the lowest turnout in the region, with just under 186,000 people voting, that's less than 22% of those registered. What is causing voter apathy? The Ocoee Massacre November 2,1920 led the way to true voter suppression with the murder of black businessman July Perry. This morning, Ocoee’s 1st elected Black City Commissioners discussed the history of the most horrible act of racism to where the city is today.
