Description

Just six days until the midterm elections, and today our focus is on the race to be California’s top cop.

California has an incumbent Attorney General, Democrat Rob Bonta, but he was appointed, not elected, and now he’s running for a full four-year term

His opponent is Republican Nathan Hochman, a former federal prosecutor who worked in the US Attorney’s office for Central California, and also as an assistant U.S. Attorney General.

We have heard from Attorney General Bonta on this show before, and we’ve invited him to appear again before next week’s election.

KCBS Radio news anchors Patti Reising and Bret Burkhart along with KCBS Radio political reporter Doug Sovern spoke with the Republican contender in this race, Nathan Hochman.
