After nearly three years filled with public hearings, the reparations task force today turned in an 1,100-page report to state lawmakers proposing several methods for compensating Black Californians for the generations of harm they've experienced.
This comes on the same day as the Supreme Court strikes down race-conscious admission policies for most college institutions across the U.S.
