Election Day is just three weeks from today, and the issues at play in the November midterms are crystallizing.
The questions now are who is going to turn out, which side will be more motivated, and how will that determine which party controls the next Congress?
To help you sort through all of this, we’ve launched a new national politics podcast on Audacy, called “The Homestretch,” focusing each week on a different issue or aspect of this midterm election cycle. Our first episode was on the economy and inflation, the second was about abortion rights, the third one, last week, on the Latino vote. Episode 4 drops this Thursday and we will focus on crime. There will be two more installments after that, on election integrity and control of the Senate. You can find our new podcast everywhere podcasts are offered, including on the Audacy app, or you can literally just say Hey alexa or siri, play the Homestretch podcast, and it should come up on your Apple or Google or whatever podcast platform you use.
One of the things we’re really trying to do with this podcast is keep it briefer than most, so it always clocks in at 15 minutes or less, giving you everything you need to know on the particular issue, a 15-minute download to keep you up to date and ready to vote.
