With news of a possible indictment against former President Trump, the political and legal ramifications affecting the 2024 presidential election are about to be a wild ride. Our political universe is about to be turned upside down if an indictment is forthcoming. Yet, with the legal implications and maneuvering unclear, it is likely that the political effects of such developments will be even more consequential. Today we wanted to turn to possible “effects” of such an indictment in California and on the state’s roughly 22 million registered voters in California.
