The past week has seen a whirlwind of activity in the nation’s Capitol with Democrats passing bills and now working this week on the process of what is called “reconciliation,” with differences ironed out behind closed doors.
In the background are the looming 2022 midterm elections where recent national polling shows a change in approval ratings for the President, and for Democrats in general.
