Description

It is Election Day in California, voting is underway in the attempt to recall Governor Newsom from office.

There was a robust early voting turnout, and turnout has been strong at polling places around the state today, but not as much as some pundits expected.

The polls suggest Governor Newsom will emerge victorious tonight, but we won’t know for sure until the ballots are counted, we will have the first batch of returns shortly after 8:00 p.m.

The prevailing wisdom has been that Republicans would turn out in force on Election Day itself, and that was their best hope for toppling Governor Newsom.
