The 2024 presidential campaign is already heating up, and for the
first time in a long time, California Republicans could have a significant say in the
process

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis comes to Southern California this weekend, in what’s likely to be the first of many visits to the Golden State by Republican presidential contenders. It’s a golden opportunity for the California Republican Party to energize its members, recruit new voters and reinvigorate itself but at the same
time, there’s going to be a very high profile Senate campaign here too, and at the
moment, not a single Republican candidate is in that field, and are there any on
the horizon?

KCBS Radio's Doug Sovern, Patti Reising, and Brett Burkhart spoke with the
Chair of the California Republican Party, Jessica Millan Patterson.
