On a cold rainy night in 2014, a battered, bruised, and starving dog was found wandering the streets of Moreno Valley. Believed to have been used as a bait dog, this pup – much to the surprise of his rescuers and veterinarian – beat the odds and not only survived, but also inspired a non-profit foundation that seeks to end animal abuse.
