The Emily Shane Foundation was formed after the 13-year old middle schooler was tragically killed by an enraged driver. Her family started the SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) Program in her memory providing individualized, intensive mentoring to struggling middle school students. To participate in the program, students must do one good deed or act of kindness for every session they receive. We are proud to honor Emily’s family as this week’s KNX Helpful Honda Heroes!
