Description

In the first hour of tonight’s show, Matt Pauley emphasizes how meaningful the World Baseball Classic is and how silly of an argument it is to make that the players involved in the Classic should not be participating. Nate Gatter, host of KMOX’s St. Louis City Soccer Report then joins the show to discuss the World Baseball Classic, what went wrong with Mizzou in the second round vs Princeton, and the yet-to-be-defeated St. Louis City SC. Joe Roderick, writer/reporter at ClaibsOnline.com and KMOX’s unofficial “World Baseball Classic correspondent” also joins the show to give live updates on the USA-Japan championship game. Matt wraps up the hour featuring the pregame comments from Blues head coach Craig Berube on discusses their game vs the Red Wings.

Sports Open Line with Matt Pauley airs weeknights 6-8pm on KMOX barring any Billikens or Cardinals games. Join the show by calling or texting (314) 436-7900 or by tweeting to Matt @MattPauleyOnAir. Listen live at 1120AM, 98.7FM, or on the free Audacy app.
