The fighting efforts for breast cancer are highlight throughout the month of October with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However, Susan G. Komen Austin fights every day out of the year, locally, so they may end it globally. Throughout the months, the money raised has gone from keeping their doors open, to providing transportation services to and from treatment.
