Since 1997 the Sickle Cell Association of Texas has provided numerous services to children, adults, and families in Central Texas. Their positive impact can be felt stretching from San Antonio to the Texas Gulf Coast -- and other areas affected with sickle cell disease and those carrying sickle cell trait.
Ayanna Edmondson Director of Youth Programming for the Sickle Cell Association of Texas joined the program to speak about the education, research awareness and how the Sickle Cell Association of Texas is committed to outreach with support group meetings, assistance, and numerous services.
