SUSIE JONES –Covered the gas explosion at Minnehaha Academy.
The new film, “DETROIT,” is receiving a lot of buzz from critics, as it looks back at 1967 and the riots that broke out there. If you are curious about that period in history, you may want to check out “1967,” one of the shows featured during this week’s FRINGE FESTIVAL. MARI HARRIS, a local singer and actress, is part of the cast, and she joins Jearlyn to talk about that difficult time in American History. (PLAYING AT THE RARIG CENTER at the U OF M, tonight, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.)
