Description

Daniel graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Before joining FIRE, he worked at a global development non-profit and as the director of communications at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, where he defended strong liberal arts curricula and advocated for increased transparency and accountability on campus. Daniel joins Dawn to speak on the recent ad campaigns from F.I.R.E. as they try to push the importance of free speech locally and nationwide - recently they held a "Free Steaks for Free Speech" event giving out free cheesesteaks to promote the significance of free speech - as well as multiple ad campaigns on local television during sporting events.
