Description

Stanley Crawford—Executive Director of The Black Male Community Council of Philadelphia—joins The Dawn Stensland Show to discuss District Attorney Larry Krasner’s claim that Philadelphia isn’t currently facing a crisis of violence. Mr. Crawford, who founded BMCC after his son was senselessly murdered, explains how city officials need to fulfill their promises to serve citizens and protect them from violence. He believes partisan bickering needs to be pushed aside with Republicans and Democrats coming together to resolve this issue. So far, in 2021, over 2,000 people in Philadelphia have been shot—with over 520 homicides.
