Description

Dr. Walter M. Zahorodny—Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Rutgers Medical School & Director of NJ Autism Study—joins The Dawn Stensland Show to discuss a recent Rutgers study that suggests that Autism prevalence in some New Jersey communities is as high as 8%—the national average is 2%. Dr. Zahorodny explains the study did not investigate a reason for the increase in frequency, though he is hopeful that there will one day be breakthrough research that is able to identify the underlying causes.
