- According to a report from 6ABC, Philadelphia plans to increase police presence in Center City to help stifle a recurring problem—large groups of teens engaging in disorderly conduct.
- In an interview with ABC27, District Attorney Larry Krasner blamed Republicans in Harrisburg for the unprecedented levels of violence on display in Philadelphia. Krasner also addressed criticisms from former city mayors Michael Nutter and Ed Rendell—stating “they are entitled to their legacy which includes mass incarceration…[and] illegal tactics used by police that have been incredibly harmful.”
