Today, Dawn lead off the Dawn Stensland Show by recapping where she was on the horrific day we remember today, September 11th, 2001. Dawn takes us inside her role as a news anchor as the news broke of the tragedy in New York, D.C., and rural Pennsylvania. Stensland tells that she, who had a responsibility to report, went into ‘mom mode’ as she thought of her two children who may be stuck in the City if there were any closures after threats to Philadelphia City Hall. Then, Dom tells of another tragedy, the death of Jamie Roman, a Philadelphia Police Officer who was shot while patrolling Kensington.
