Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick—Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District—joins The Dawn Stensland Show to discuss the bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill which passed in the House of Representatives on Friday with a vote of 228 to 206. President Joe Biden is expected to sign the legislation into law this week. Rep. Fitzpatrick says the infrastructure bill will result in new, structurally safer bridges throughout the state of Pennsylvania—and that the bill may not be perfect, but it is still very good. During his conversation with Dawn, the Congressman also talks about the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, hurricane relief, lowering prescription drugs prices, and the state’s opioid problem.
