- A 38-year-old mother was arrested for shooting her two sons in their Bucks County home on Monday. Tragically, neither child is expected to survive. According to NBC10, the mother was engaged in a custody battle and was one day away from being evicted from her home.
- A tow truck driver was ambushed while working in Chester, Pennsylvania. Police are looking for at least two suspects. The driver is in critical condition.
- On Wednesday, Governor Tom Wolf spoke outside of Independence Hall condemning the U.S. Supreme Court’s presumed repeal of Roe v. Wade. Wolf vowed to keep abortion accessible in Pennsylvania for as long as he is governor.
- On Wednesday, New Jersey officially introduced its ban on single-use plastic and paper bags. Grocery stores now require customers to bring their own, reusable bags when shopping.
- According to the Pennsylvania SPCA, Buddy the cat raised over $100,000 for his medical costs after he was attacked by two dogs in Philadelphia. Buddy has recovered and is enjoying his new home. Meanwhile, the remaining donations are being used to help other animals in the community.
