In Lackawanna County it could be up to the voters if they want reassessment or not. It's been nearly 50 years since one has been done. The three Lackawanna County Commissioners agree with doing a reassessment but Patrick O'Malley and Laureen Cummings who spoke with Sue Henry are in favor of putting it on the ballot and Jerry Notarianni says get a real cost of what it would cost to do and then go ahead with it. According to officials it would take up to three years to complete and cost several million dollars.
