Patty Steele was emotional on the big show this morning, sharing the news that her loving dog Maggie passed away suddenly this past Friday morning.
Maggie was 13 and a half years old.
It happened right after Patty got off the air Friday morning, Maggie was chasing a toy when she suddenly collapsed and was died.
Patty's daughter Kate screamed "call the police" as an instant reaction to what had just happened.
Maggie was born within an hour after Patty's father died so she was a great great love. She was there for her through her cancer battle and says it was the same as losing a friend.
