Although we could not have our annual Thanksgiving celebration together, Stew Leonard checked in to share some helpful tips for this unusual holiday.
With 7 supermarkets around the tri-state area, Stew says there's a trend developing this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Smaller gatherings.
Here's what Stew shared with us to help make the most out of our Thanksgiving 2020:
- Stew says there will be more Thanksgiving celebrations with fewer people around the table this year, so they are cooking smaller turkeys, serving sliced turkey breast & serving smaller cookie platters.
- A lot of people are going to be making turkeys for the first time!
- While Stew’s Chefs will again offer their popular “Dinner for 8” Thanksgiving meals, they will also roll out four new “Dinner for 4” meals this holiday!
- Stew is seeing an uptick in panic buying – people are stocking their freezers, buying more baking goods and, of course, stocking up on toilet paper
