We always hear how the Texas economy would be in the top 10 biggest economies in the world on its own. But, one county in north Texas is going to lead the way in the future.
Researchers at Prestige Economics predict that Collin County will have a GDP that's larger than entire states in this country within the next 25 years.
Collin County alone will make up 10 percent of the total GDP for the state of Texas. It will have a full 7 percent of the people working in Texas and 6 percent of the population.
