Bruins tough guy Shawn Thornton made an appearance on the Dennis & Callahan show Wednesday morning to talk about the Marc Savard situation and explain why none of his teammates responded when the center was felled by a hit to the head from Pittsburgh's Matt Cooke on Sunday.
