Carmen Gamble grew up in the Kulage House, which her mother still owns and lives across the street. In addition to the upgrading wall protecting the house, it has been hit by bad weather in the last two years and has gone without repair. Now, a new slate and copper roof has gone up, and workers will finish the work on the inside over the winter and hope to have things done by June 2025.
