March 26 27 The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Scranton District Parole Office has an innovative program to better serve re-entrants in the Lackawanna County area. It's called STRIVE or State Transition Reentry Incentive Validating Endeavors. Opening day of the 5th annual all volunteer run resident camp at Camp Archbald is quickly approaching. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has extended the application deadline for grants to reduce underage and dangerous drinking to provide eligible parties additional time to submit applications.
