March 26 27  The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Scranton District Parole Office has an innovative program to better serve re-entrants in the Lackawanna County area. It's called STRIVE or State Transition Reentry Incentive Validating Endeavors. Here to tell us about STRIVE are  Mary Brotzman Community Re-entry Parole Agent in the Scranton District office and Penny Sines Parole Manager One for the North-Central Region of the State.  Opening day of the 5th annual all volunteer run resident camp at Camp Archbald is quickly approaching. Emily Loder, Marketing and Communications Chair, Supporters of Camp Archbald says they are looking for those all important volunteers.  The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has extended the application deadline for grants to reduce underage and dangerous drinking to provide eligible parties additional time to submit applications.  Corinne Dinoski, Director of the Bureau of Alcohol Education and Shawn Kelly, Press Secretary,  PA Liquor Control Board are here with details on alcohol education grants available.
