A local college, Cal State Long Beach, recently went viral for their shortened graduation ceremony. Recent graduate Jordan Glickman joined Kelli to talk about his experience at during the ceremony and why he feels the graduates got robbed from their moment to celebrate their accomplishment.
With the new shorter format graduates do not walk across the the stage to receive their diploma. Glickman told Kelli that the entire ceremony was around 45 minutes long. Many people seemed to agree with Glickman that he and the other graduates should have had their moment to celebrate their success, but other felt that the shorter ceremony was more efficient.
