Mike and Charlie discussed Lebron James' decision to sign a two-year max contract extension with the Lakers. New Nicholls State head baseball coach Brent Haring joined Mike and Charlie. Coach Haring reviewed his opportunity to take over a rising Colonels' program that made the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back years. He evaluated his assistant coaching staff. Haring remembered his relationship with LSU coach Jay Johnson. He also praised the strength of the Southland Conference in baseball. Debbie Bressler, the coordinator for "Go 4th on the River," promoted a free July 4th event in New Orleans.
