The monthly death rate from opioid overdoses dropped by 30% in Pennsylvania counties that followed a strategy developed by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Janice Pringe, PhD, professor of pharmacy and therapeutics at the Pitt School of Pharmacy, was a guest on The Rick Dayton Show to talk about their findings. She was the lead author on the study published today in the "Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs."
