The James Franklin era has officially arrived in Blacksburg. On this episode of Inside the Tunnel, we preview Virginia Tech’s season opener against VMI, break down what we want to see from Ethan Grunkemeyer and the new-look Hokies, and discuss which position battles and young players could stand out in a game Tech should control from start to finish.
We also discuss Virginia Tech bringing in former South Carolina defensive back DQ Smith and what his addition could mean for the Hokies’ secondary.
