It's the first time our Zoomer Squad convenes since the provincial budget was released late last week. There are some Zoomer-focused commitments in there including a $1-billion boost to home care over three years and a new tax credit for low-income Seniors (adults 70 and older) should the PCs be re-elected.

A LOOK AHEAD TO TORONTO'S MUNICIPAL ELECTION

The City of Toronto's election registration campaign starts today. Our current mayor, John Tory, is seeking a third term in office. Who are his rivals in this race? At this point in time, it's hard to tell. And, at the same time, there are 25 seats in city council that will be voted on. We know that two veteran councillors, Joe Cressy and Kristyn Wong-Tam will be leaving city hall. Karen, who served as a City councillor, actually ran for mayor at one point. She weighs in on the latest.
