STRATEGY PANEL: Masks Mandates and Leadership Candidates

Mask mandates have become a polarizing political marker as we get mixed messages from the Ontario government.

While seemingly unwilling to reinforce a mask mandate amid soaring COVID case counts, the recommendation from the province is to keep wearing masks.

Meanwhile, with the Conservative Party of Canada leadership candidates gearing up for their first round of debates next month, Jean Charest is calling out Pierre Poilievre for ‘showing the love’ to the Freedom Convoy.

Libby is joined by the Strategy Panel, Karen Stintz, CEO of Variety Village; John Capobianco, Senior Vice President and Senior Partner, FleishmanHillard HighRoad; and Charles Bird, Managing Principal at Earnscliffe Strategy Group in Toronto, to discuss these issues and more.

NATURAL BURIAL ASSOCIATION

Pointing to benefits to the environment and reduced fees for Canadians, a volunteer, non-profit organization is promoting an alternative to a traditional cemetery burial, while calling on the Ontario government to eliminate an exceptionally high fee for new cemetery operators.

Libby Znaimer is joined by Susan Greer, Executive Director of the Natural Burial Association to explore the issue.
