A city committee will vote today on whether Pride Toronto should get funding for its’ event this year. If it passes and goes to full council, Councillor John Campbell will present a motion to pull funding from the organization, after Pride announced it would not permit Toronto Police to have a float in the parade, bowing to Black Lives Matter demands.
