Today marks the one-year anniversary of the Capitol Hill Insurrection in which a mob of pro-Trump protesters violently stormed the capitol building in Washington DC. Mark Brewer explains in further depth the events that lead up to the Capitol Hill attack and what it reflects about America's current political climate. Michael recently wrote an op-ed in the Globe and Mail where he explores the deep political polarization of the American peoples and how Canadians compare in this regard. Finally, we explore a new Angus Reid study that compares Canadians vs Americans views about whether the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill attack was an act of "domestic terrorism".

In a rare move, the opposition parties at Queens Park alongside the health care union have called on Premier Doug Ford to make an emergency recall of legislature in order to address numerous concerns in the health care system and in an effort to have Bill 124 repealed. Sharleen details the opposition to Bill 124 and explains the types of supports she'd like to see from the Ford government towards reforming the system.
